GUS Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) silently and efficiently convert wind energy into electricity. The unique vertical axis, double-helix blade design makes it a versatile, reliable and efficient way to produce pollution-free, renewable power day and night.

  • Produces up to 50% more electricity on an annual basis versus conventional turbines with the same swept area
  • Generates electricity in winds as low as 4 mph (1.5 m/s) and continues to generate power in wind speeds up to 130 mph (60m/s) depending on the model
  • Withstands extreme weather such as frost, ice, sand, humidity and wind conditions greater than 130 mph (60 m/s)
  • Sealed unit design with no gearbox is virtually maintenance-free.
  • GUS is the only truly soundless wind turbine and its non-reflecting surfaces to eliminate strobing effect, so it is easy on the eyes and ears.
  • Narrow profile design is wildlife-friendly — birds perceive the GUS as a solid object and avoid it.

We were so impressed with this innovative, Canadian-made product, we have one installed at the EfstonScience SuperStore. Our new ePole Hybrid Wind+Solar LED Streetlight will produce up to 1000 W, capable of powering our signage and lights, with power to spare.

  • Two 4 foot LED Wall Washer Lights to illuminate a 30′W x 20′H wall sign
