Rouge Valley Conservation Centre Hybrid Energy ePole

The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre gets a 5.5kW hybrid wind+solar ePole. Selling its power to the grid via Ontario’s MicroFIT program, the ePole is expected to earn over $60,000 for the RVCC over the next 20 years.

The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre is located in Toronto, Ontario in the Rouge Park, the largest urban park in North America. Operated by the Rouge Valley Foundation, a registered charitable organization, the Centre focuses on environmental restoration, monitoring and research and offers interpretive walks and educational programs for the general public, school and community groups.
