Mounting
PowerTracSolar mounts on metal post without digging. No carbon intensive concrete with curing time and as such installation can begin immediately after placement. Guaranteed against frost heaving. No damage to landscape. The posts can be relocated.
Adaptable to weather conditions
The PowerTracSolar tracking system includes a meteorology station to work in conjunction with the high accuracy tracking controller. The calendar driven programming permits the tracker to operate in snow and windy conditions. Withstands winds of up to 140 km/h
Independent control
Each PowerTracSolar solar tracker comes equipped with independent control capabilities, which works to monitor solar movements, to handle the prevailing weather conditions and perform remote operations
Minimal (parasitic) power usage
The PowerTracSolar unit turns extremely slowly (with the Sun) and moves only about 15 metres total per day. The heavy duty motor consumes minimal energy (100 kWhr/year or about $12.00) and requires only periodic preventive maintenance.
